Mrs. Johnson’s Classroom Updates

Wow!  Full room for accounting and I am so excited about it.  Today we went over the syllabus, got books, and went over some classroom procedures.  Signed syllabus sheets are due no later than Friday 9/11.

Digital photography classes also went over classroom rules and syllabi today.  The student expectations and permission forms need to be signed and returned no later than Friday 9/11.  In the future I will be leaving different notes here for block 2A and 2B since they will be doing different assignments; but for now one will do.

In business law today we  not only went over syllabi and classroom expectations, we also decided what we are going to learn about and discussed how this group of students learns best.  We decided to try notes on this first chapter to see how it goes.  Adjustments will be made throughout the quarter based on what’s working and what students like and don’t like about the class.  Our first chapter (chapter 18) is on marriage and divorce.  We began taking notes today.

Welcome to the 09-10 school year.  I hope you had a fantastic summer.  I’m looking forward to an awesome year.  I’m teaching some different classes this year and am very excited to see how they go.  See you in class!
